Below are some common questions and answers to help you move into this new way of evaluating and improving your writing.
Answer: You can get high quality feedback on your feature screenplay, TV pilot, or TV episode. Or you can use our Script Components feedback to get feedback on specific characters, scenes, structure, and other key parts of your script.
Answer: The AI will give you actionable feedback that can instantly be used to improve your screenplay. For example, let's say the AI suggests that you give your lead character a different motivation and a stronger wound. The new motivation will drive character's actions, pushing them to new extremes. The wound will haunt the character and be revealed in a powerful scene that changes our perspective on that character and their journey. Every piece of feedback creates the opportunity to improve your screenplay.
Answer:
1. Log into your account at http://screenplayfeedback.ai
2. That should take you to your DASHBOARD. If it doesn’t, just go to the front page and click Dashboard.
3. At your Dashboard, in the left hand column, click the words, GET FEEDBACK.
4. That takes you to a page where you’ll see Full Script Feedback buttons at the top and if you scroll down, you’ll see the SCRIPT COMPONENT Feedback buttons – Title, Characters, Structure, etc.
5. Select the one you want to get feedback on and click the green button there that says GET FEEDBACK.
6. That will take you to a page where it has questions – Your title, genre, concept, etc.. Answer the questions. The last question will ask you to input your scene or character profile, etc.. Just paste it into that text box.
7. Then click GET FEEDBACK.
Usually, the feedback takes 2 – 3 minutes because we are sending complex prompts and info to the AI. Within 2 – 3 minutes, the feedback will appear at the bottom of the page.
Answer: If you want it sent to you in a .PDF, go to the top right hand corner of the feedback and click the little .pdf button. That will send a .pdf to your email.
Answer: First, we recommend you use the "Feedback/Rewrite/Repeat" process -- get feedback, make whatever improvements you agree with, and then come back for another round of feedback.
That way, with each draft, the AI sees a higher quality script and must look deeper for suggestions for improvement.
Second, when you read the feedback, create a separate To Do list with all the improvements that you like. Put the ideas in an email or word document. Then make those changes.
Third, ignore anything that you disagree with. If it is important, it will show up in a future feedback session.
Answer: These are our secret weapon for great writing. They focus on specific parts of your script – character, scenes, structure, etc.. This detailed feedback goes right to the most important parts of your screenplay.
Recommended approach: Get full script feedback to make overall improvements. Then use the Script Component feedback to make these targeted parts of the script exceptional.

Answer: No, it is not. Your script is only used to give you feedback.
Answer: The only one who has access to your script is you.
Answer: It remains in your account unless you remove it. If you would like to delete it, go to your DASHBOARD. In the left column, click YOUR SCRIPTS. On that page, find your script and click REMOVE.
Answer: Email isn’t 100% reliable, but it the message sometimes goes into your spam file or promotions file. Check there. If that doesn’t work, go to our Contact form and ask to be verified. Include your name, email address and the request.
